for 1884, with nickel-plated 2 1/4in. tapering round barrel signed 'COLT'S PT. FA. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. USA', the left side of barrel etched 'NEW HOUSE', crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to top-strap, fluted cylinder, solid frame with blued screws and hinged loading gate, spur trigger and flat-based smooth walnut grips, much original plated finish.
